SAN ANTONIO, TX – Clear Integrity Group, a commercial real estate firm, and Guard Texas, a Texas-based security services company, are joining together today to serve a hot meal and share gratitude with 140 veterans housed at the American GI Forum’s Residential Center for Veterans in San Antonio, Texas. The event, held in anticipation of Veterans Day today, provides a warm meal, desserts, drinks, flags, and Veterans Day pins to thank and honor those who have served our nation.
The American GI Forum’s Residential Center for Veterans provides transitional beds and single-room apartments for veterans experiencing homelessness. Their mission is to support veterans in achieving stability and independence through safe housing and supportive services.
Retired U.S. Army Brigadier General T.J. Edwards, co-owner of Clear Integrity Group, shared his deep appreciation for the opportunity to give back: “As someone who proudly served our country for 30 years, I know firsthand the sacrifices our veterans have made. It’s important that we recognize those who served—not only on Veterans Day, but every day. A simple thank you goes a long way, and today, we want these veterans to know they are appreciated and remembered.”
Scott Frech, Vice President of Business Engagement with Guard Texas, reflected on the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting service members: “Fifteen years ago in Dallas, Roxana Tofan and I served meals at the airport for troops deploying to Afghanistan—alongside T.J. It’s an honor to continue that spirit of service today through our community partnership, showing gratitude to the veterans who gave so much for all of us.”
This Veterans Day initiative reminds the community that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. During these challenging times, it’s more important than ever to let veterans know that their service made a difference and continues to inspire others.
